This September, I’m Going The Distance to help patients with cancer at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.

This September, I’ll be running and walking 200km in honour of my beautiful niece, Bella, who tragically passed away at just 24 years old after a courageous battle with a rare and aggressive cancer.

Bella was the definition of strength. Throughout her cancer journey, she faced every challenge with incredible resilience, unwavering gratitude, kindness and hope. Even in her darkest moments, she was always more concerned about everyone else than herself.

Bella taught us to embrace each new day, to find joy in every sunrise, and to make the most of every moment, no matter how difficult life becomes.

To honour Bella’s extraordinary legacy, I’m taking on the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Go the Distance Challenge, running and walking 200km throughout September. I’m raising funds in memory of Bella, for every cancer warrior fighting this disease, and for the remarkable doctors, nurses and staff at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse who cared for and supported Bella with such compassion.

It is both an honour and a privilege to do this in Bella’s name. Every kilometre is for her, and every donation—no matter how big or small—will help make a difference for those facing cancer and give more families hope for another sunrise.

Every step is for our beautiful Bella.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.💛
