Because growing old is a privilege I'm walking 250kms for Bella's legacy
My beautiful niece Bella was just 24 when she passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She taught us all that 'Growing old is a privilege' and reminded us that 'life is happening right now'. Despite everything she faced, she chose gratitude, kindness and joy every single day.
This August, I'll be walking 250km in Bella's honour as part of the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse Go the Distance challenge. Every step will help raise funds for the incredible team who cared for Bella and for the patients and families who need them today. If you're able to support me, I'd be truly grateful.
