This September, I’m Going The Distance to help my sister who is having cancer treatment at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
My 16yo sister was diagnised with bone cancer in February this year. Since then she has spent a lot of time in hospital, as has my mum. They both remark how helpful and kind all the staff are. The money also goes towards finding out more about Oseosarcoma and other cancers. The Chris O'Brien lifehouse also looked after my grandmother in 2017 and 2018 as she went through a battle to cancer as well.
I’m going the distance to get moving to reach my goal for the month. With your support, every kilometre will count towards ensuring the very best cancer care is available to everyone in our community.
All donations will help Chris O’Brien Lifehouse continue to provide compassionate, research-driven cancer care, as well as holistic support services for people with cancer.
Every kilometre counts, can I count on you?
