Watching a family member go through their cancer journey at Lifehouse, during the height of the pandemic exposed how vital funds are. It’s one of those things, you never think you need the help of a place like Lifehouse until you absolutely do.
The young adult centre for my fam was really helpful, crucially it doesn’t look like hospital. It’s the closest thing you can get to home, when you can’t go home.
