This September, I’m Going The Distance to help patients with cancer at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
Hi there friends,
My entire 'cancer journey' took place at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, where I was a public patient.
Three surgeries, and a course of radiotherapy - in a beautiful, light space with brilliant doctors and nurses - all within five kilometres of my home.
Because my breast cancer was found early, and the expertise of this incredible place and its people, my life is almost back to normal.
I'll be grateful to the Lifehouse for my life, for the rest of my life.
