My target 60 kms
This September, I’m Going The Distance to help patients with cancer at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
Back at it! My fifth Go The Distance challenge. This year I’m going hard. Swimming further than before. Each day I’ll attempt to swim 2km. I’m aiming to swim 60km over the month. It’s 10km beyond my personal best, over the course of a month. It’s double what I swam last year for the challenge. More importantly, I’m raising funds for the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. As a patient and supporter, with immense gratitude for all they’ve helped me with, I’m giving back. Supporting the amazing services they provide to people with cancer and world class research. I also use the month to raise awareness about the importance of screening, which saves lives.
So whether it’s a kind sponsor or cheering me on, I’m going to need support this year. I’m Going the Distance and further than I’ve ever have done before in the pool.
