This September, I’m Going The Distance to help bring cancer care closer to home for regional Australians.
I’ve been fortunate to live close to the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse for my ovarian cancer surgery, chemo and supportive treatment. The lifesaving chemo has left me with debilitating neuropathy in my feet, and keeping active is the best medicine, so I’m going to get moving every day in September to reach my goal for the month. With your support, every km I cover will ensure more people across NSW can access life-changing, specialist cancer care, in an environment that feels like home.
