This September, I’m Going The Distance to help patients with cancer at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
Earlier this year my partner was diagnosed with Lymphoma. After months of gruelling chemotherapy and immunotherapy we were advised today he is in remission. We are so thankful for the care he received at COB LifeHouse during treatment and for their continued support during his ongoing recovery.
Im going the distance by walking 100km during September which will be a stretch for me but achievable! Andrew lost an incredible amount of weight through his illness and treatment. Jokingly, I think I gained a sizeable portion of that so this will be good for me while Andrew also builds his strength back at the Living Room at COB LifeHouse.
With your support, every kilometre will count towards ensuring the very best cancer care is available to everyone in our community.
All donations will help Chris O’Brien Lifehouse continue to provide compassionate, research-driven cancer care, as well as holistic support services for people with cancer.
Every kilometre counts, can I count on you?
